Our very first investigation took us to a pub just outside Bury St. Edmunds.  Various reported paranormal events included footsteps being heard over the bar area, the ghost of a man with horses seen outside the pub, the figure of a judge seen by an old mirror and the spirits of a married couple, possibly the ones responsible for the footsteps.
During our visit to this property, we were taken down into the cellar and shown a sealed up doorway leading supposedly to another room.  A spiritualist who had visited the pub a while before, had warned the landlord not to open up this doorway.  Why this was, we have no idea.
Various vigils were held during the night down in the cellar and in many of the rooms upstairs in the pub.  The only slightly curious thing that was witnessed at the time was a small sniffing noise.  This was heard by one member of the team while down in the cellar.
However, our best results were found when we replayed the video and dictaphone recordings that had been taken throughout the night.  On looking at the night vision film footage taken in one of the upstairs rooms, a small spark of light was noticed moving from the closed door near to where one of the investigators was sitting.  This was only seen once on all of the many hours of footage taken that night and was not caused by any of the equipment being used at the time.
The other curiosity was a dictaphone recording that seemed to have picked up the words of someone saying 'Why are you here?'  This may have been an example of E.V.P. - Electronic Voice Phenomena.  E.V.P.'s are usually very faint and not heard at the time of the recording, but only when the tape is played back.  This was true of our recording.  Whether it was a spirit trying to communicate with us, or whether it was just random noises that the tape picked up, we have no way of knowing.
In conclusion, this was an interesting first case and certainly left the team eager to investigate further.

Encouraged by the results of our first visit to the White Horse, this second investigation was quickly arranged. Again, various vigils were held during the night. This time, we experienced a few equipment malfunctions. The battery on one of the cameras drained faster than it should of done and on one vigil in the cellar just after midnight, one camera switched off with nobody being near it.

Also during the evening, a couple of team members felt a little unwell, one of them feeling very anxious and developing back pain, the other a bad headache.

Various light anomalies were caught on camera in the same room as before. A table had been put in the centre of the room with a glass left on top of it. A locked off camera was left trained on the glass to detect any movement. Unfortunately, there was no movement at all. However, later in the evening a couple of sparks of light were caught on camera moving away from the table.

For us, this room did seem the most active.

We hope to be able to re-visit this location again in the future.
